  • Jan has authored numerous books including her favorite, “Journey with Jay.” She was hired as a “life coach,” for an injured Alabama worker who endured 6000 pounds of steel on his face and head. He miraculously survived, but had to be resuscitated three different times. He was in acute rehabilitation facilities for two years. His complex and global traumatic brain injury rendered him a victim of total retrograde amnesia. He didn’t even remember his wife of 20 years or his two sons. This book details our intense therapy endeavor to re-acclimate Jay back into his family, his community, and ultimately back to his prior employer where he continued to work for over two additional decades.
